The in-house finance market has shifted toward keeping people in older vehicles for longer terms and higher payments over the past several years. It is now common at traditional buy-here, pay-here dealerships for people to sign six or even seven year loans on vehicles. Six years at $650 a month is $46,800. Seven years at $600 a month is $50,400. Simply stated, that's absurd!
We are changing this trend at Benchmark by never locking our customers into strict, long-term contracts, never burdening you with negative equity and always offering great trade incentives as early as after just one year.
We have three trade options for our buy-here, pay-here alternative in-house lease customers:
Option 1: After making payments for 12 months, you can trade into another vehicle for half the posted down payment on any vehicle on the lot listed with a down payment up to $2,000. This means a vehicle with a down payment listed at $2,000 on a standard lease plan can be swapped with your old vehicle for just $1,000 down!

Option 2: After making payments for 18 months, you can trade into another vehicle for half the posted down payment on any vehicle on the lot listed with a down payment up to $3,000. This means a vehicle with a down payment listed at $3,000 on a standard lease plan can be swapped with your old vehicle for just $1,500!

Option 3: After making payments for 24 months, you can trade into another vehicle for half the posted down payment on any vehicle on the lot listed with a down payment up to $5,000. This means a vehicle with a down payment listed at $5,000 on a standard lease plan can be swapped with your old vehicle for just $2,500!

Trade Rules:
» Trade offers are only valid if the customer has kept the vehicle in good working mechanical and aesthetic condition, changed the oil every 5,000 miles or less, made payments on time, put less than 1,800 miles per month (21,600/year) on the current vehicle, has less than 200,000 miles on the current vehicle's odometer, has taken care of the vehicle well - determined at our sole discretion, and has maintained CDW or full coverage insurance at all times.
» Customers may pay a mileage penalty if over on miles and still qualify for the trade program up to 2,083 miles per month (25,000/year) on the current vehicle. Customers putting more than 25,000 miles per year on a vehicle do not qualify for trade incentives.
» Customers can get into higher down payment vehicles but will have to make up the difference above the qualified discount. Customers can also get into lower down payment vehicles, but the max discount available is half the posted down payment on any given vehicle, and there is not an option to receive any cash back.
» Discounted trade options are only available on standard lease plans and can only be applied to future standard lease plan down payments.

» Standard lease plans range from 57-260 weeks and have a purchase option. No security deposit is required.
» All leases are able to be canceled early with a termination fee.
» All vehicles listed for in-house lease financing are offered exclusively as operating leases and will have a down payment listed next to them under our inventory tab. If there is not a down payment listed, the vehicle is only available for outside financing or cash sale.
» Alternative financing options are available. All advertised payments are subject to change based on qualifications, contingent upon approval and may not apply to each individual.
» Trade offers and credit approvals are subject to change without notice and at dealer's sole and absolute discretion.
» There is a 2.5% fee on all credit and debit card charges in excess of $500.
